His head and hands were sculpted in a plastiline clay. When happy, they was moulded in fibreglass and a skin cast in silicone rubber produced for teh head, resin casts for teh hands.The head then had a fibreglass skull to support it made, with the eye apertures left clear for resin eyes to be matched and inserted. It was then painted in a number of washes to give it that "living" feeling. Individual hairs were then punched into his scalp one at a time to finish it off. The body was made from polyurethane foam covered in fibreglass.. Finally, his clothes around the completed figure, and topped it off with his flute and little leather "bum bag". My little chap has a tree root covered base, but this one was made for a customer without.
