Most people who like film monsters like the work of Swiss artist H.R. Giger who designed the creature in the film 'Alien'.

Rather than be too obvious, I decided to make another of his creations, the monster in 'Species'. She was sculpted in sections and moulded in silicone rubber. Transparent resin casts were fitted around a metal and plastic skeleton which was pre-painted. It was then painted and airbrushed with many layers of acrylics.

She's 47cm high.
